Willmott Dixon preferred bidder for Rochdale Academy

Willmott Dixon has caned Kier to surface as preferred bidder for a £16m Academies National Framework deal for Rochdale Borough Council.

Work on site is planned to start next January on the 900-place St Anne's Academy in Middleton.

The academy is due to open in time for the start of the September 2010 term.
