Pamela Anderson to build a Dubai eco-hotel

By Roxanne Millar

Pamela Anderson has claimed she will build her own eco-friendly hotel in Dubai.

The former Baywatch babe is the latest Hollywood star to pursue a property portfolio in the conservative Arab country, joining Brad Pitt who is designing an eco-hotel for Zabeel Properties.

Anderson said she fell in love with the country during a trip there with the Make a Wish charity.

She told contactmusic.com that Dubai’s royal family had convinced her to become a hotelier.

She said: “I’m building a hotel there. It is environmentally friendly. I went there with the Make a Wish foundation and met some great people there. The royal family was really friendly.

“[The hotel] is built with no fossil fuel at all – in Abu Dhabi where they have all that oil.”

No more details of the project have been released.
