William Verry has clinched two education sector deals in the south-east totalling £24m.
The firm is emerging as preferred contractor to build a new £13m humanities facility at Queen Mary University in Whitechapel, east London.
Work on site is expected to get underway later this year.
And in Southend, Verry will build the new Futures Community College for client Prospects Building Services.
Work on the £11m deal is due to begin in November, with completion set for 18 months.
