The National Construction College's (NCC) 2009 training prospectus includes a new two-day 'Introduction to the management of tower cranes'. This is designed to ensure those involved in or responsible for the management of tower cranes are aware of applicable legislation, their responsibilities and industry best practice.
NCC now has six locations across the UK, including recently opened sites at Inchinnan, near Glasgow, and East London. The latter provides plant training for workers on the Olympics and other large-scale projects.
