Redrow and Barratt to write off £300m

Barratt and Redrow are expected to report that a fall in land prices has wiped £300m from their portfolios.

Barratt chief executive Mark Clare will say he has had to write off £160m related to the value of his company's land bank when Barratt reports its final results on Wednesday, according to the Independent on Sunday.
