Morgan Ashurst wins £8.8m student homes deal

Morgan Ashurst has bagged an £8.8m contract to build a nine storey student residence in Shadwell, east London, for Unite Group.

The facility, called John Bell House, will provide 132 en-suite bathrooms, with two public sedum roofs on the sixth and eight floors with views across London.

Morgan Ashurst said much of the construction would use off-site, modular techniques.

The project is due for completion in August 2009.
