Four teams headed by Gladedale, Davis Langdon, Broadway Malyan and a Glasgow developer have been shortlisted to build the £245m Commonwealth Games village.
The four consortiums were officially ratified by Glasgow City Council this morning (Thursday) and will begin a competitive dialogue process for the top job.
The council is expected to refine the shortlist to two by the end of the year and announce the successful bidder by summer 2009.
The Commonwealth Games village is to include up to 1,500 homes and will be built in Glasgow’s east end.
