'No outsiders' rule equals bargain housing in Cornwall

A self-build scheme is allowing families to build homes for less than a third of the normal price.

Twelve families in Cornwall have built homes for just £84,000 – not the £350,000 it usually costs in St Miniver.

Retired farmer David Willis owns the land the homes were built on and released it cheaply on the condition the homes are not sold onto people from outside the area, reported the Metro.
