Q-Plant takes the UK's first Kobelco 110-ton crawler crane

Q-Plant Hire of Manchester has taken delivery of the UK's first new Kobelco 110t-capacity CKE1100 crawler crane.

Filling the gap between existing 90t and 135t models, its tracks hydraulically extend from the 3.5m wide transport position, to the maximum overall working width of 5.3m.

Its main lattice boom extends from 15.2m to 70.1m and jib extensions can provide a 55m maximum working radius and a 72m hook height.
