Ainscough crane stolen from lay-by

Thieves have stolen a large Ainscough crane from a lay-by on the A10 after it was left there overnight.

The Evening Standard reported that workers had left a 14m section on an 18m trailer near the A141 Harlow slip road last Wednesday.

The section was due to be picked up by Ainscough the next day. But when the company came to collect it, the section had disappeared.

The yellow trailer is marked "Ainscough Crane Hire".
