Specialist hirer Elliott is upgrading its temporary site and its modular accommodation ranges.
The Moduflex range of temporary site accommodation can be configured to provide open-plan office space. Any number of the units can be assembled to give the required office space with a simple column where the four corner uprights meet.
Aimed at the longer term user, typically needing office accommodation for several months or even a year, the units come with pre-installed lighting, can be stacked three high and specified with almost any combination of windows and doors on the outer walls.
According to Elliott’s managing director Paul O’Kelly, the rental cost is similar to the current range although the superior level of fit out and installation means the commissioning costs are slightly higher.
Elliott’s new Progress range modules are building regulation compliant - typically for jobs lasting over two years or if members of the public have access - and according to O’Kelly is the only one capable of accepting floor to ceiling glass. He expects it to appeal to companies wanting a prestigious building and provide staff with the maximum of natural light.
Progress units also provide open-plan accommodation, can be stacked three high and are well suited to temporary buildings for schools and hospitals. O’Kelly said Progress carries up to a 20% premium depending on the layout.
