Building Idol Kanvas has Talent to win the X Factor

Willmott Dixon Group's fit-out arm Kanvas has won a contract to transform the London office of entertainment company Freemantle Media - the firm behind TV shows Idols, Got Talent, and The X Factor.

Work on the project, which involves reconfiguring the office over three storeys to create new breakout areas and meeting rooms, started this month and will continue until January 2009.

Kanvas associate director Mason Booth said: "This is a very prestigious contract for us and we are looking forward to creating a new office environment for freemantle media before the end of January 2009."
