Green Germans on the look out for installers to meet demand

A German renewable energy manufacturer, which operates from Wirral, Merseyside, is looking for contractors to carry out installation work because it cannot keep up with demand for its products.

Stiebel Eltron is seeking heating engineers, electrical and plumbing contractors and heating and ventilation experts to install its renewable energy products in the UK.

Chief executive Mark McManus said the firm wanted a reliable network of accredited contractors it could call on to install ground-source heat pumps, air-source heat pumps, solar panels and air conditioners.

He said: "It would make the perfect bolt-on for those with an existing business and could give the business a nice boost when things are quiet,"

The company will also cover the costs to train tradesmen at its German base.
