Tenders will soon be invited to participate in a Framework Agreement for the Supply, Relocation and Erection of Volumetric Building Units, across the County of Somerset with potential to extend throughout the South West Region.This project is currently being advertised in the Official Journal of the European Union and further details are available in the Contract Notice.
Successful applicants will be required under a framework arrangement to design, construct, and deliver new or relocate existing units primarily for Somerset County Council’s Children and Young Persons Directorate. The Framework is planned to commence on 01 April 2009 lasting 4 years with an estimated value of £4 to £5million over that duration. The units will meet functional and performance standards requiring a 30-year design life.
Contractors who have the resources and the ability to carry out such work and wish to be considered for inclusion on the select list of tenderers should make a written application expressing their interest, requesting the prequalification questionnaire (PQQ) and stating the address from where the project will be managed. The request with the unique reference G8G860M16203, marked for the attention of Navid Ahmadi,(email: RegisterofContractors@somerset.gov.uk) Frameworks Team, Property Services, Southwest One, County Hall, Taunton, Somerset, TA1 4DY must bereceived at County Hall no later than 07 November 2007.
Please note that applicants are asked to state the firm’s turnover for each of the last three years. Applicants must complete and return the PQQ to the address stated on the PQQ by no later than 21 November 2008.
