Glademan Developments £20m industrial scheme on hold

Construction of a £20m industrial scheme in South Yorkshire has been put on hold after talks with an occupier fell through.

Glademan Developments had hoped to begin construction of the 29,500m2 industrial and distribution scheme at Wentworth Distribution Park in Tankersley last month after the completion of groundworks.

A spokesman for the group said the project was now on hold until an occupier could be found.

“We had agreed to the pre-sale of buildings with an investment company, but they cannot go ahead with the purchase,” the spokesman said.

“We should have been on site now, but now we will start once we find an occupier.”

The scheme includes four buildings, which each have an estimated build time of 20 weeks.
