The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) is investigating the death of a builder who fell more than 9m while fitting windows in Newcastle.
The 57-year-old man was working on a home in Kenton when he fell onto a concrete patio at about 5.50pm on Thursday.
He was rushed to hospital but died the next day at 2pm.
It is thought the man was a subcontractor on a loft conversion job.
The HSE said it had been to the site to take measurements to determine conditions before the accident.
