Miller Construction and Cyril Sweett close £80m schools deals

A consortium of four companies, which includes Cyril Sweett, Miller Construction, Land Securities Trillium and FES, has reached financial close on an £80m schools PPP project for Inverclyde Council.

The e4i consortium will design, build, finance and operate two secondary schools and two primary schools in Inverclyde.

Construction of the two primary schools will begin immediately, with completion expected in early 2010.

Meanwhile construction of the two secondary schools will begin in summer 2009, with completion expected in spring 2011.
