Spencer wins £37m worth of contract awards

Humber-based C Spencer has won a series of contracts worth £37m within the past two weeks.

The deals include:

• An £11.5m train depot
• A £6.2m bus depot
• In excess of £7.5m of bridgework projects
• A new £2.4m port terminal in Southampton
• £2.7m contract for four station car parks in Cambridgeshire

Commenting on the contract wins, C Spencer chairman Charlie Spencer said: "Most of these contracts are for existing long-standing customers and I think it says something about the quality of our work that they are happy to come back with repeat business."
