The Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) has put the call out for a firm to design and build the £60m temporary basketball arena for the 2012 Games.
The firm has issued a contract notice for works comprising the design, construction, dismantling, removal and possible reuse of the arena’s frame and roof and wall cladding.
The tender does not include the provision of groundworks, services or seating.
The deadline for expressions of interest and completed pre-qualification questionnaires is 8 December via the ODA’s eTendering website.
The venue has been dogged by controversy after it emerged that Olympic bosses had considered scrapping it in favour of holding games at Wembley Arena.
