Rok's share price plummets 50%

Rok’s share price fell off a cliff at 8am this morning as news surfaced that it was cutting 750 job, 15% of its workforce.

Within minutes shares which had closed last night at 73p were being traded at 36p.

Over the past 12 months, the turmoil in the financial market had seen Rok’s shares slip from 160p to 73p, which has been in line with the construction sector.
