White Young Green parts with commercial director

White Young Green’s commercial director Denis Connery is leaving the group “my mutual agreement” following a review of operations across the group.

All commercial functions will in future come under the direction of Paul Hamer, chief operating officer.

“As a consequence of this decision, Denis Connery, will be leaving by mutual agreement,” said WYG in a statement this morning.

Bob Hartley, group finance director, takes on responsibility for company secretarial matters.

Lawrie Haynes, chief executive, said: "As we continue to grow, it is essential that we make sure our commercial activities are tailor-made for the wide range of customer groups we serve.

“This is why we have decided we need to de-centralise the commercial function and, instead, have the appropriate specialised commercial teams in each of our five main business units”.
