ISG homes in on £4.8m Essex housing scheme

ISG Jackson has homed in on a £4.8m contract to build new headquarters for Greenfields Community Housing in Braintree, Essex.

The three-storey concrete-frame building is due for completion by autumn 2009.

The structure will have a number of "green" features including pipes buried in the ground to heat and cool incoming ventilation air, a ground-source heat pump and rainwater harvesting.
