BAM Construction tops bid list for West Midlands deal

As tipped in CJ last month, BAM Construction is now confirmed as the preferred bidder for the £44m redevelopment of Sutton Coldfield College in the West Midlands.

The firm is in negotiations with the college to discuss the design of the new Riverside campus.

Work on the 22,300m² project is scheduled to start next April for completion at the end of 2010.

Taylor Woodrow, Kier Build, Norwest Holst and Balfour Beatty also priced the job.
