Robin Ellis Construction Services in administration

Robin Ellis Construction Services and Robin Ellis Projects have fallen into administration, resulting in 35 redundancies.

The companies are both part of the Robin Ellis Group, based in Primrose Hill in London.

The group operated in the high quality residential and commercial sectors.

Vantis Business Recovery Services was appointed joint administrator to Robin Ellis Construction Services and Robin Ellis Projects yesterday.

Administrator Glyn Mummery said: “The demand for luxury design and construction in the property sector has dropped considerably. With a high cost base and a declining market, the Robin Ellis Group was unfortunately forced into insolvency.

“In the current climate the business is sadly unsustainable and so the group will be wound up over the coming months. Together with the management team, we are concentrating on recouping monies for creditors.”
