Worker killed by dump truck in Gloucestershire named

The man who died on a building site in Gloucestershire on Wednesday has been named as self-employed construction worker Royston Dean.

The 44-year-old died after he was trapped beneath an overturned dump truck on a building site in Perryway, Frampton-on-Severn.

Dean is believed to have been working with his brother Steve on a new leachate treatment plant at a former landfill tip when the accident occurred.

The Health and Safety Executive is investigating.
