Speedy signs £3m supply deal with Simons Construction

Simons Construction has signed a three-year/£3m exclusive contract with Speedy Hire for the supply of tools and equipment.

The deal will include lifting, power generation, surveying equipment and temporary accommodation supplied across the country by Speedy’s 450-strong depots network.

Speedy will also act as the sole agent for general plant administration.

 The hirer will have dedicated hire desk staff within Simons’ head office in Lincoln, enabling the contractor’s personnel to call one number for ordering, administration, management information and payments.

Delivery and collection performance, equipment mix, breakdown response and spend analysis will be monitored by a bespoke management package. 

George Dickinson, supply chain development manager said: “This agreement has been put in place to provide our sites with consistent high standards in equipment supply.”
