Sources say that Ardmore is moving to the top of the class for a £35m education-sector deal in north London.
The job involves the design and build of a new Jewish Secondary School in Barnet.
It is expected that client JCOSS will officially appoint its preferred contractor before the end of this year.
Work on site is expected to kick off early next year, with the project likely to take about 18 months to complete.
The task is to build a new school spanning around 11,700m2 and accommodating around 1,300 students, plus a 3,000m2 special needs unit for 50 children.
Norwest Holst and Apollo also priced the project.
