Four directors to leave Mace board

By Neil Gerrard

Four group board directors are to leave Mace as part of a succession plan put in place after a management buyout of the company in 2001.

Steve Anderson, Steve Booth, Mike Atkinson and Gary France, who collectively have 65 years' worth of experience at the company, will leave at the end of the year.

Stephen Pycroft, chief executive of Mace Group, said:

“Steve, Steve, Mike and Gary have been valued group board colleagues for many years. Each has been a fundamental driver of change since their appointment to the board and without them Mace Group would not be what it is today.

"The four have amassed more than 60 years of service to the Mace Group and it’s time for the next generation to take up the challenge.”

It is not yet known who will replace the four.
