Taylor Wimpey says debt talks almost over

Taylor Wimpey has confirmed that it will reach an agreement on its debt covenants with lenders before the end of the year.

The outcome of those discussions is expected to be announced before its preliminary results.

"We are confident that a robust, stable medium term financing solution for the Group, which takes into account the requirements of all relevant stakeholders, will be achieved prior to the announcement of our Preliminary Results," the house builder said in an announcement.
