Willmott Dixon has won an £8m contract under the National Academies framework to extend a school in the London borough of Hackney.

The contractor will extend both ends of the existing Mossbourne Community Academy to create facilities for a new sixth form, as well as dining facilities.

Rob Lambe, managing director at Willmott Dixon's Dartford office, which will be undertaking the work, said: "The team is really looking forward to enhancing what is already an outstanding place to learn.

"Alongside Studio E, we have a team that is very experienced in creating excellent environments to learn and teach, and look forward to adding to Mossbourne Community Academy's already impressive facilities."
