ISG Jackson wins £4m pool and library contract

ISG Jackson has won a £4m project with the London Borough of Bromley to build a new community swimming pool and library in Biggin Hill.

The new facility, which will be built on the site of the town's existing library, will feature a 25m, six-lane swimming pool and a two-storey library.

The building will be a double height steel frame construction, while the pool hall will feature exposed glulam beams and a Kalwall translucent cladding system on its facade. It will also feature a green sedum roof.

The project is set to start this month and is scheduled for completion in early 2010.
