Galliford Try has won three contracts worth a total of £29 million under Yorkshire Water's large schemes programme.

The contracts, which Galliford Try is undertaking in partnership with Earth Tech, will see the refurbishment of East and West Hull pumping stations, including flood remediation works at Hull waste treatment works, as well as water treatment works at Sheffield and Rotherham.

Greg Fitzgerald, chief executive of Galliford Try said:

"Securing these projects as additional contracts over and above our workload as one of Yorkshire Water's contract partners demonstrates the benefit of our team's commitment to quality and delivery on all of the work we carry out for our water industry clients, helping us to maintain our position as one of the leading contractors to the industry."
