Kier is part of a consortium that has been named preferred bidder for a PFI project to build and run six new police investigation facilities in Norfolk and Suffolk over 30 years.
The £60m construction contract, which forms part of one of the largest PFI projects within the police sector, is scheduled for completion by summer 2010.
The Justice Support Services (JSS) consortium comprises Kier Group, Bank of Scotland Corporate, and Reliance Secure Task Management.
The six centres are being planned for Wymondham, Aylsham, Great Yarmouth, Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds, and King's Lynn.
