Do us a flavour - vote for 'Builder's Breakfast' crisps

The Federation of Master Builders (FMB) is urging construction workers to vote for "Builder's Crisps" in Walker's "Do us a flavour" competition where members of the public come up with new flavour crisps.

The six finalist flavours, chosen by chef Heston Blumenthal, are:

• Chilli & Chocolate
• Fish & Chips
• Onion Bhaji
• Crispy Duck & Hoi Sin
• Cajun Squirrel
• Builder's Breakfast

Richard Diment, director general of the FMB, said: “We’re delighted that Builder’s Breakfast has been selected as a finalist in the Do Us a Flavour campaign. Builders across the country will no doubt be voting for this exciting new flavour and we urge the general public to do the same!”

Emma Rushin creator of the Builder’s Breakfast flavour said: “The combination of bacon, buttered toast, eggs and tomato sauce is mouth-watering and I know it will be a hit with the British public.” 

The public can vote for the flavour until 1 May 2009 via text message, or on the Walkers website.
