Scott Wilson wins £9m A46 contract extension

Scott Wilson has announced that it has won a £9m contract extension to provide detailed design and site supervision services for Balfour Beatty on the A46 Newark to Widmerpool improvements.

The win follows a decision by Secretary of State for Transport Geoff Hoon to give the go-ahead to the dualling of a 28km section of the road.

The work will take place over the next three years. Scott Wilson has been working with Balfour Beatty on the initial stages of the scheme since 2004.
