Lincolnshire contractor D.A. Green and Sons has entered a consultation period with employees about redundancies which could lead to 18 jobs being lost.
The firm, based in Spalding, Lincolnshire, works on structural steelwork, cladding and roofing contracts. It employs 150 workers.
Finance director Paul Coote said: "We are in the consultation process but it is likely that that we will have to make some compulsory redundancies.
"There is a reduction in availability of work at the moment; a noticeable reduction that has had an impact on us."
The consultation period will end in the next two weeks, reported Spalding Today.
