Galliford Try is expected to start work in May or June on a £26.6m education contract in the North West.
The job involves redeveloping King George V College’s campus in Southport.
The design and construct scheme will include 14,500m2 of new facilities along with 1,700m2 of refurb work.
The other bidders for the two-year scheme were Wates and Pochin.
