Bilfinger Berger confirmed as £300m M80 PPP winner

The Highways Management consortium headed by Bilfinger Berger has been confirmed as the winner a PPP deal to upgrade the M80 in Scotland.

CJ originally tipped the consortium to win in August last year.

The consortium also includes Ulster outfits Graham and Farrans.

Bilfinger fended off Balfour Beatty to win the bid.

Work is scheduled for completion in 2011.
