An Irish property developer has been found dead near his home in Dublin.
The 41-year-old Patrick Rocca is reported to have died of a single fatal gunshot wound, in what Irish police are describing as a suspected suicide.
The property tycoon had an estimated fortune of more than £460m in 2007, and his UK business Accorp Properties was thought to have a portfolio worth more than £300m.
Accorp owned major UK assets such as Lloyds Chambers in the City of London, Norwich Union House in Sheffield, and Crystal Court near London City Airport.
In April 2007, Rocca bought the 19,000m2 Quadrant House in Sutton, Surrey from Rotch Property Group for £65m. The building is home to Reed Business Information, publishers of Contract Journal.
