Stratford International Station bridge lifted into place - VIDEO

The bridge that will form a new entrance to Stratford International Station has been successfully lifted into place.

The 36m bridge was lifted, fully glazed, 13m above the domestic service railway lines at the station by a 1,000 tonne crane (see timelapse video below). The new bridge will allow for easy access from the station to the Olympic Park and Stratford City.
