Costain confirmed in £85m M53 win

The Highways Agency has confirmed that Costain has been appointed as contractor on the £85m upgrade of the Highways Agency's M53 Bidston Moss viaduct strengthening scheme.

Contract Journal tipped Costain for the win nearly two weeks ago.

Construction is set to start in summer 2010 and take around 20 months to complete.
