Buckinghamshire County Council wish to procure a contractor to install a gravity pipeline and tanks for the storage of leachate, contaminated water and surface water from the waste facilities at their High Heavens site.This is to primarily provide safe storage and carry waste water off site to the public foul sewer.

The contractor will be required to design foundations, the storage tanks and install the foundations, storage tanks and drainage pipework for this project, which will require careful co-operation with the other contractors working at the site.

The anticipated start date for the building contract is autumn 2009.

Contractors who have the resources and specialist ability to carry out such work should make a written expression of interest and request for Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ).

It is a requirement for this contract that the successful organisation must have passed the Contractor Health & Safety (CHAS) Assessment or an equivalent.

If the organisation believes they are registered with an equivalent organisation they must contact CHAS to have this verified.
