Willmott Dixon has scooped £63m-plus of schools work in the London area.
In Ilford, the firm will build a modern replacement for the Loxford School of Science & Technology.
The new school, for 2,000 pupils, is due for completion late in 2010.
The project, for the London Borough of Redbridge, was awarded under the Improvement and Efficiency South East framework.
And in Hackney, Willmott is preferred bidder to build the new Skinners' Academy for 1,150 pupils on the Woodberry Down campus.
The project was awarded under the National Academies framework and the new school is set to open in time for the start of the September 2010 term.
