Flintshire-based M&E firm PT in administration

Flintshire-based M&E contractor PT has announced that it has gone into administration.

The news means that around 130 people, including subcontractors who work for PT, risk losing their jobs.

It is not known at this stage what caused the company's demise.

It had appeared that the company had been turning a corner - in its latest set of published accounts for the year ended 31 January 2008, it posted a £154,171 pre-tax profit.

It had made a £138,812 pre-tax loss in the previous year.

Administrator PKF is handling the company's affairs.

No-one at PT was available to comment.
