The National Federation of Builders (NFB) has opened a new helpline to offer free advice to members preparing pre-qualification (PQQ) documents and tender responses, as competition for new work continues to intensify.
The advice line is part of a wider package of services the NFB has launched, including a PQQ and tender submission review service, each designed to help members win work
Julia Evans, chief executive of the NFB, said: “Complex PQQ and tendering procedures are a huge burden to smaller contractors who lack the time and resources that larger firms can devote to complete.
“The popularity of our existing advice lines has shown that our members value access to expert guidance on a range of matters, and these new services have come at a time when pressure is mounting on their businesses every day."
