Applications are invited for suitably experienced contractors who wish to be considered for inclusion on select lists of tenderers for 
two separate contracts at the above location.

Sprayed Concrete Works

The work will involve the preparation of an area of a seaward facing masonry and concrete sea wall face followed by concrete placement 
by spray of up to 800sqm of concrete and pressure pointing of the existing masonry. The work will be governed by tidal range and general 
prevailing wind and wave conditions. It is proposed to commence the work around May 2009. Membership of the UK's Sprayed Concrete 
Association (SCA) will be an advantage in our consideration for the actual select tender list.

Rock Armouring Works

The work will involve the placement via the sea, of approximately 10,000 tonnes of graded armourstone blocks each weighing up to 8 
tonnes in size, and adjacent to the seaward face of haldon Pier. It is proposed to commence this work in Autumn of 2009.

Applicants must include the following information:-

1. A clear statement of the contract select list for which your company is interested in being considered for inclusion.
2. A list of similar principal projects undertaken in the last 3 years with the clients name, address and telephone number in order that   references can be taken up.
3. Astatement of your company's expertise in either of the two contracts, including labour and plant resources available.
4. Provision of equal opportunities and insurance policies
5. Copies of audited accounts for the last 3 years
6. Information on prevention measures taken by your company in the field of health and safety in accordance with the Health 7 Safety at 
   work Act 1974, and details of your company's safety record.
7. An indication of the proportions of the contract the applicant may intend to sub-contract.
8. Information relating to any registration that the contractor may have with THE EXOR GROUP, or similar organization, including your   company's registration number.

Contractors should apply in writing to arrive no later than friday 20th March 2009.
