Ford's new car-derived Fiesta van carries up to 515kg of payload and can do up to 67.3mpg.

It has 1m³ of loadspace, a maximum useable load length of 1,296mm, a height of up to 806mm and a maximum load box width of 1,278mm (1,000mm between the wheel arches). A half-height composite bulkhead and tie-down hooks are standard.

There are three engine options: a 60kW/1.25-litre petrol a 1.4-litre turbo diesel developing 50kW and a 66kW/1.6-litre turbo diesel with a closed-loop coated diesel particulate filter. Combined-cycle fuel efficiency is 49.6mpg (CO2 emissions of 133g/km) with the petrol and 67.3mpg (110g/km of CO2) with the diesels.

The new Fiesta gets Ford's 'EasyFuel' capless refuelling system, which also prevents the wrong fuel filler nozzle being inserted. Prices start from £9,025 and the insurance groups are 1E or 2E depending on engine choice and trim level.
