- Manchester City Council trading as North West Construction Hub is looking for an extraordinary 99 contractors for a four year £1bn framework. The enormous framework covers a host of new build and refurbishment projects including schools, colleges, leisure facilities, bus stations, and residential and commercial buildings. Work will be split into 13 regional lots.

Bedford: Highways construction
- Value: £207m
- The Highways Agency is advertising for a contractor to perform a variety of highways works in Bedford. The £207m project will last for six and a half years and include improvements on the A556. It will take the form of carriageway construction and widening, among other environmental enhancements.

Coleraine: Highways construction
- Value: £100m
- The Department for Regional Development at Coleraine has issued a prior information notice for improvement works on the A8 between Belfast and Larne. The £100m scheme involves dualling a 12km stretch of road.

Edinburgh: Hospital construction
- Value: £60m
- Lothian Health board has advertised for a hospital framework of up to seven contractors. The four year £60m scheme will include hospital construction work and a number of upgrades, ward refurbishments, and extensions to existing buildings.

Bedford: Road maintenance
- Value: £10m
- The Highways Agency has issued a prior information notice for repairs to a 6.4km length of the A14. The work includes concrete repairs to cracked slabs and failing joints prior to the application of a new surface.
