67 jobs under threat at Kingspan Insulated Panels plant

Nearly 70 jobs are at risk at the Kingspan Insulated Panels plant in Flintshire, Wales.

A total of 67 positions at the plant based on Greenfield Business Park are under threat. The current headcount totals nearly 400.

A company spokesman told the Evening Leader: "This situation has been caused by the broader economic climate, and Kingspan are confident they remain ideally placed to take advantage of the recovery when it happens."

Last November the company announced that annual profits were expected to fall by a third and it was looking to make 28 workers redundant.

If all 67 jobs go, the workforce at Greenfield will fall to 320.
