This week's top five construction tenders include a £67m repair and maintenance framework in London, £50m-worth of school and leisure building construction of the island of Orkney and a £25m ammunition facility in Portsmouth.

London: Repair and maintenance
- Value: £67m
- Family Mosaic, an affordable housing provider operating in London and Essex, is advertising for contractors to perform repair and maintenance on its estates. The contract is split into three lots which include responsive repairs, cyclical maintenance and decent homes work. The work is valued at up to £67m a year and there will be up to 12 annual renewals.

Orkney: School and leisure building
- Value: £50m
- Orkney Island Council is looking for a contractor to design and build a new primary school, secondary school, leisure building and facilities management services. The contract will be for an initial 10 years with the option of a further five.

Nottingham: House building
- Value: £75m
- Nottingham City Council has issued a prior information notice for expressions of interest from partners to jointly form a Local Housing Company. The partnership will be responsible for regeneration activity which includes the development of up to 5,000 homes and redevelopment of brownfield sites.

Portsmouth: Ammunition facility
- Value: £25m
- Defence Estates is advertising for a contractor to build an Upper Harbour Ammunitioning Facility at Portsmouth Naval Base. Work will comprise the construction of an isolated piled concrete platform and two mooring dolphins. The platform will support two ammunitioning cranes which will rearm warships.

Glasgow: Plant hire
- Value: £10m
- Glasgow County Council is looking to hire plant over a three year framework agreement. The equipment is separated into lots which include the provision of access platforms, excavators, tippers, pumps, backhoe and skid steer loaders.
